Brand Guidelines (For Organizer)

This is a public relations guide for 4v4 competitions, tournaments, and brand.

Notation Rules

When referring to or writing about 4v4, please follow these notation rules:

Tournament Name: "4v4 U10/U12"

  • Incorrect expressions:
    ❌ 4V4 (do not use capital letters)
    ❌ 4v4 U-10/U-12 (do not use hyphens)
  • Use half-width numbers, lowercase "v", and uppercase "U"

Sport Name: "4v4"

  • Incorrect expression:
    ❌ 4V4 (do not capitalize "v")
  • Note: "4v4" is the name of the sport, distinct from tournament names like "4v4 U10" and "4v4 U12"

Operator Name: "4v4 Official"

  • Incorrect expressions:
    ❌ Management
    ❌ Official
  • 4v4 Official is the organization that oversees and manages 4v4 U10/U12 and addresses operational issues

National Tournament Qualifying Round: "Qualifying Round"

  • Incorrect expressions:
    ❌ Regional Tournament
    ❌ Qualifying Season
    ❌ Qualifying League
  • All tournaments (Bronze, Silver, and Gold) held from April to November are called "Qualifying Rounds," consisting of qualifying league and final tournament phases (some may be league-only depending on the number of participating teams)

National Tournament: ex. "JAPAN CUP"

  • Incorrect expression:
    ❌ National Finals

Brand Assets

Logos and main visual materials may be used within reasonable bounds to promote 4v4 U10/U12. However, copyright belongs to 4v4 Official, which reserves the right to demand improvements or cease usage if it determines the usage to be malicious.

Prohibited Actions (Including PR and Social Media Use)

Logo Modifications

  • Modification or alteration of the logo is prohibited

Use of Photographs/Likenesses

  • Photographs (likenesses) of participants, including Keisuke Honda, cannot be used
  • Only materials containing Keisuke Honda's likeness provided by our company may be used
  • Cropping to show only Honda's face or editing that cuts off faces is prohibited
  • Please refrain from using screenshots or screen recordings
  • Regardless of whether it's Keisuke Honda or other guests/participants, permission is required to use their likeness

Use of Keisuke Honda's Name

  • Keisuke Honda's name cannot be used freely
  • The name can only be used to state that he is the founder or that he devised the rules
  • Acceptable phrases for announcements:
    • ⭕ "Founder Keisuke Honda"
    • ⭕ "Rules devised by Keisuke Honda"

Misleading Official Designations

  • When creating new social media accounts:
    • Acceptable format: "4v4_location_organizer_name"
    • Not acceptable: "4v4_location" only
  • Prohibited actions:
    • Using "4v4_official" in account names
    • Implying NowDo Inc. is hosting qualifying rounds when they are not

World Cup Reference

  • The term "World Cup" cannot be used

Screenshots and Screen Recordings

  • For social media and advertising materials, please use only company-provided materials
  • Official images and videos will be shared periodically
  • Screenshots of the official website are permitted if they don't include Keisuke Honda's likeness, videos, or sponsor sections, and are properly formatted

Merchandise Production Using Logo

  • Apparel: Production of merchandise using the logo is prohibited, regardless of whether it's for sale
  • Event Decorations: Banners and other decorative items may be produced with 4v4 Official's permission. Please consult via the 4v4 Organizer official LINE account

Press Releases

  • Press releases must be submitted to 4v4 Official for review before distribution
  • Please allow sufficient time for review

YouTube Posts

  • Free posts are permitted
  • Logo and materials must not be modified and must follow brand guide rules
  • Do not use videos/audio featuring Keisuke Honda or use his image in thumbnails
  • Must include 4v4 URL (https://4v4.jp/) in the description
  • If concerned about video content, please request verification from 4v4 Official
